Tripwire Presents has signed on to publish Starforged Legacy, the sci-fi action roguelike from Second Shift Games.
The game is available now on PC via Steam Early Access for $7.99, with a free demo also available.
Hangar & Arsenal Update Launches
Second Shift Games has also released the free Hangar & Arsenal update.
The update adds Combat Circuit, a 12-sector mode that removes Star Map routing in favor of a faster fight, extract, and shop loop. Players choose routes, face bosses in sectors six and twelve, and can Press On into Endless after winning.
New Ships and Weapons
Hangar & Arsenal adds three ships, each with four loadouts.
The new ships include the Starward: Guardian Frigate, Sunder: Riftblade Cruiser, and Dreadwing: Retaliatory Carrier.
The update also adds four weapons: the Flak Cannon, Arc Cutter, Gravity Missile, and Compression Field. Each one gives players a different way to control space, thin enemy waves, or set up stronger late-run builds.
Buildcraft Meets Bullet Hell
Starforged Legacy puts players in control of experimental warships across a 2D combat plane.
Runs focus on positioning, automatic or manual fire, weapon choice, augments, ship upgrades, and permanent progression. Players collect resources from failed expeditions to strengthen future runs and open new options.
Demo Available Now
The free demo includes three ships, six loadouts, two difficulty settings, and a limited Skill Tree.
The full Early Access version currently includes nine ships, four loadouts per ship, 16 core weapons, over 190 augments and enhancements, and 30-plus narrative encounters.
Starforged Legacy is available now on Steam Early Access.
