Little Prince Tyger is bringing physics-driven archery to more than 1,000 handcrafted, single-screen levels. Publisher Team17 and French developer Saltitude Games have announced the dark fantasy action roguelite for PC, with a 2027 release planned.
Named after William Blake’s poem The Tyger, the low-resolution 2D adventure casts you as a tiny hunter the Queen tasks with finding her missing son, Prince Galaad.
Precise Archery Meets Environmental Physics
You start with a bow and arrow, using careful aim and environmental manipulation to take down strange beasts. Physics-driven combat and fluid simulation give you additional ways to approach each compact level.
Perks change your options across runs. Some adjust bleed damage, movement, arrow draw speed, or arrow weight. Others let you manipulate fluids, slow time, or gain weapons such as javelins, boomerangs, throwing knives, and traps.
That combination puts precision alongside experimentation as you work through the game’s single-screen challenges.
Memories Introduce the People Behind the Hunt
Past memories introduce characters trying to find their place amid the violence. They include Sauterelle, a kamanaï warrior; Machiavelli, a kitchen garden keeper with a secret past; and the big-hearted Dagaubert.
The announcement pairs the hunter’s supposedly honorable mission with one pointed instruction: “do not question it.”
Little Prince Tyger is currently in development for PC and launches in 2027.
