Bigby Returns to Investigate a Fabletown Murder
Based on Bill Willingham’s Fables comics, The Wolf Among Us follows Bigby, Sheriff of Fabletown, as he investigates a murder threatening a hidden community of fairytale characters in 1980s Manhattan.
The choice-driven thriller sends him through a wider conspiracy, with decisions shaping his relationships and approach to the investigation. The new story trailer culminates in a look at his full wolf transformation.
Noir Mode and Five Playable Lost Scenes Join the Remaster
The remaster updates environments, character models, animation, and audio. A new Noir Mode presents the game in black and white.
Bonus content includes five fully playable Lost Scenes, an art gallery containing more than 100 images, and over an hour of developer interviews. Telltale also teases secrets hidden within the game.
The separate Remastering A Legend video explores those additions and the team’s approach to updating the original.
Free Episode 1 Demo Available Through October 26
The Steam demo includes all of Episode 1, “Faith,” and previews the updated presentation and choice-driven gameplay.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches October 29 on PS5, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Xbox One version runs on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility.
A Nintendo Switch version will follow later, and physical retail editions are planned for early 2027. Telltale also says The Wolf Among Us 2 will continue Bigby’s story in 2027.
