Crystal Dynamics, Flying Wild Hog, and Amazon Game Studios have released a new teaser for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary. The video debuted during TR30 Tomb Raider Day in Derby, England, alongside the announcement of a lo-fi music collection spanning three decades of Lara Croft’s adventures.
Listen to Three Decades of Tomb Raider Music
Crystal Dynamics partnered with longtime community musician That Norsk Chick on the Tomb Raider: 30th Anniversary Lo-Fi Collection, now available on YouTube. Spotify and other streaming releases are planned for later.
The collection remixes music from the classic games, the Survivor series, and the Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld trilogy. It draws on composers including Nathan McCree, Peter Connelly, Troels B. Folmann, Jason Graves, and Wilbert Roget II.
Alix Wilton Regan, who plays Lara in Legacy of Atlantis, recorded lines from the franchise for the collection. Community artist Tholia contributed original artwork and a lo-fi-inspired animation.
More Than 500 Soundtrack Tracks Are Coming to Streaming
Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics have also partnered with Harry Hinds of The Music of Tomb Raider to prepare the franchise’s soundtracks for streaming services. More than 500 tracks are expected to arrive in the coming weeks, including music appearing on those platforms for the first time.
Further details will be shared through the official Tomb Raider blog.
