Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, including Steam and Xbox on PC. Coin Crew Games and publisher iam8bit Presents have also brought the puzzle sequel to Xbox Game Pass at launch, with Xbox Play Anywhere support.
The base game costs $19.99 and supports a complete solo playthrough or two-player co-op, locally or online. A Season Pass and platform-specific Deluxe Editions are also available.
Explore the Campus and Investigate the Academy’s Founding
Back 2 School expands the original Escape Academy’s puzzle-solving format with an openly explorable campus. You can search its locations for hidden traps, secrets, and puzzles while investigating a mystery tied to the school’s founding.
Coin Crew Games says the sequel adds characters, new campus locations, and tougher puzzles. The central story builds toward revelations about the Academy itself, giving your exploration a larger mystery to follow between escape-room challenges.
The entire game supports solo or co-op play. You can work through its puzzles independently, sit down with another player locally, or team up online.
Season Pass Includes Two Upcoming Expansions
The $14.99 Season Pass includes two expansions currently in development, each featuring its own narrative set within the series. Planned additions include escape rooms, extra-credit side quests, and other content.
Like the base game, the upcoming expansions will support single-player and local or online co-op.
Season Pass and Deluxe Edition buyers also receive the Mask-uerade cosmetic DLC immediately. It contains ten animal-themed masks connected to the Academy’s history.
Deluxe Edition Contents Differ on Console and PC
The $29.99 console Deluxe Edition includes the base game and Season Pass.
The $34.99 PC Deluxe Edition adds the official doseone soundtrack and a digital artbook. The standard game is still available separately for players who want to start with the main campaign.
Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is out now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Game Pass access available from launch.
