Coin Crew Games and iam8bit Presents have announced that Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School will launch on Xbox Game Pass on day one. The news was revealed during the ID@Xbox IGN Showcase alongside a new trailer for the open-world puzzle game.
Escape Academy 2 is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, Xbox Play Anywhere, Xbox Game Pass, and PC via Steam later in 2026.
An Open World Campus Full of Puzzles
Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School expands on the first game with an explorable campus filled with traps, puzzles, and hidden secrets. This time, players will investigate a new mystery tied to the founding of The Academy, with the story promising new revelations about the school itself.
The sequel can be played solo or in co-op, with both online play and split-screen couch co-op supported.
Launching Later This Year
Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School launches later in 2026 for Xbox platforms and PC via Steam. Players can wishlist the game now through the Microsoft Store and Steam.
