Grand Theft Auto VI digital pre-loading begins November 10 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with different start times for each console. Rockstar says the download will require up to 212 GB, depending on your device.
PS5 pre-loading opens at midnight in your local time zone. Xbox Series X|S pre-loading begins simultaneously worldwide at 12 a.m. GMT on November 10. Code-in-box versions for both consoles are expected to reach retailers beginning November 12.
PS5 and Xbox Pre-Loads Follow Different Schedules
The PS5 schedule means access rolls out as each region reaches November 10. Xbox players will instead share one global start time.
For players in North America, that Xbox start is November 9 at 4 p.m. Pacific and 7 p.m. Eastern. PS5 players in those regions will need to wait until their own local midnight.
With the download requiring up to 212 GB, you’ll want to check your console’s available storage before pre-loading begins. Rockstar has published a pre-load FAQ with instructions for both platforms.
Free Printable Poster and Leonida Map Arrive November 19
Rockstar will add an official printable cover-art poster and map of Leonida to the Grand Theft Auto VI website on November 19. Both will be available as a free digital download.
A double-sided physical version will follow through the Rockstar Store shortly after launch. It will cost $0.99 when purchased separately or come as a free gift with any Rockstar Store purchase.
The digital download lets you print the artwork yourself, while the store release offers a physical option after the game arrives.
Rockstar’s Site Offers Videos, Music, and Location Details
Ahead of release, the official GTA VI website includes the An Extended Look video, previews of in-game radio stations, and singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.
The site’s Only in Leonida section also covers Vice City and its surroundings, while a separate page details the Ultimate Edition.
Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Digital pre-loading opens November 10, with the Xbox rollout beginning the previous afternoon for North American players.
