Mana Core Game Studios has announced that Utopia: Birth of the Heroes will launch on Steam Early Access on July 27. The arcane fantasy visual novel is the debut game from the Monterrey-based two-brother studio led by Dante and Daniel Arjona.
The Early Access build includes Chapters 0 through 17, covering the full first half of the game. Players can expect around 8-10 hours of story content built around war, politics, moral choices, and three protagonists with different ideas of what a perfect society should be.
Continue From the Demo
Utopia: Birth of the Heroes currently has a five-chapter demo on Steam, and progress from that demo will carry over into the Early Access version. That means players can pick up where they left off instead of replaying the opening chapters.
Mana Core Game Studios plans to use Early Access feedback to refine pacing, clarity, English localization, UI presentation, and the overall feel of the release ahead of the full version.
Players who buy the Early Access version will receive the complete game when it launches.
A War-Torn Fantasy Story
Utopia: Birth of the Heroes takes place in a medieval fantasy realm shaped by war, ambition, and arcane magic. The story follows three protagonists, each chasing their own vision of peace and a better society.
Choices will affect relationships, character arcs, and the fate of multiple kingdoms. The team is positioning the game around political tension and emotional stakes, with multiple outcomes designed to reward replaying the story.
Eskil Ilhamy Trailer Released
Alongside the Early Access date, Mana Core Game Studios released a new character spotlight trailer for Eskil Ilhamy, one of the key protagonists featured in the Early Access chapters.
The trailer is part of an ongoing spotlight series focused on the game’s cast. The soundtrack is composed by Peter Reid Jones, with a surprise guest composer set to be revealed before Early Access begins.
