Arc System Works America has announced that Demons’ Night Fever will launch on October 22, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
Steam pre-orders are live now, while physical edition pre-orders for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch begin July 31.
Tactical Combat Built Around Sacrifice
Produced by Sohei Niikawa and developed by SuperNiche and Drecom, Demons’ Night Fever is a speedrun-focused simulation RPG with grid-based tactical combat.
Its main twist is the Peon Exploitation System, which lets players sacrifice allied Peons during battle. Kill Skills and Sacrifices can turn your own underlings into weapons, making cruel tactics the fastest path to victory.
Players will also earn Perverse Points through misdeeds, then spend them at base to strengthen characters and build a stronger evil army. Abductions and Pillaging also factor into character growth within the game’s time limits.
Giga Super Death Gets a Second Chance
The story follows Giga Super Death, the Devil himself, who was moments away from killing God before being turned into a helpless baby.
To regain his power, he activates the Demons’ Night Fever resurrection program and forms a pact with Killshiro Katanaka, a bitter programmer from an exploitative game company who assumes the entire situation is a stress-induced hallucination.
Their goals line up, so Killshiro becomes the Devil’s disciple and starts taking his frustrations out through tactical evil.
Bosses Change the Setting
Each chapter changes the game’s setting after a boss falls. Players may shift roles across different setups, such as playing a monster-fighting Super Ranger or a witch taking on Magical Girls.
The cast also includes Mary Haley, a justice-driven idol and former classmate of Killshiro who believes she must save him from the Devil, and God, who presents himself as merciful while working behind the scenes to erase Giga Super Death.
