Something We Made and co-publisher popagenda have announced that Toem 2 will launch on September 29 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
The new photo adventure arrives nearly five years after Toem: A Photo Adventure, with the sequel built for returning players and anyone picking up a camera for the first time.
A New Photo Adventure
Toem 2 follows players as they head out with a camera to track strange events known as Toems.
Players will run, jump, climb, take photos, solve puzzles, and find small details across cozy new areas. The game keeps the relaxed pace of the original, letting players move through each region without time limits or strict completion demands.
Camera Upgrades and New Tools
The camera has new attachments in Toem 2, giving players more ways to solve problems across each region.
Photos still play a major role in puzzle-solving, quest progress, critter cataloging, and documenting the odd things players come across.
Meet Characters and Fill Your Journal
Players will meet new characters and critters while helping people across the game’s regions.
Quest progress fills out a journal with stamps, which mark completed tasks, photographed sights, and critter entries. Those stamps also help players move on to the next region.
Original Toem Discounted
To mark the announcement, the original Toem is currently 90% off on Steam and PlayStation 5.
