WorldMap has released the Chocolate Parade demo on Steam, giving players an early taste of its sweets-based roguelike action game.
The demo includes four stages: Sea, Plaza, Wasteland, and Castle. Players can try the game solo, in offline co-op for up to two players, or online co-op for up to three players.
Sweets With Heavy Weapons
Chocolate Parade stars confectionery characters fighting through quick rounds built around score chasing and coin collecting.
The cast includes sweets like a waffle with a machine gun and a Baumkuchen that fires lasers. Each run lasts around four minutes, keeping the pace quick and pushing players toward another attempt.
Build Your Parade
Players will roll, collect sweets, and add allies to their parade during each run.
Those allies can change the flow of a match, pushing players to adjust their plan based on who joins the group. The game supports gamepad play, with two controllers required for offline co-op.
Boss Rushes and Co-Op Battles
Chocolate Parade includes high-speed boss rush battles and coin battles, with solo and co-op options across its demo stages.
The full game does not have a release date in this announcement, but players can wishlist Chocolate Parade on Steam now.
