Frogwares has released a new narrated overview trailer for The Sinking City 2 ahead of the game’s August 18 launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The trailer gives players a closer look at Arkham, the flooded, decaying city at the center of the Lovecraftian survival-horror game.
Calvin and Faye Take the Lead
The Sinking City 2 follows Calvin Rafferty, an occult adventurer whose actions have left his girlfriend, Faye Bennett, trapped in a mysterious sleep after a ritual goes wrong.
Calvin stays in Arkham to find a way to bring her back, even as monsters overrun the city and most sane people have already fled.
Survival Horror and Investigation
The overview trailer shows how The Sinking City 2 mixes survival horror, combat, and optional investigation.
Players will explore Arkham by foot and by boat, search for limited resources, manage inventory space, and decide when to fight or conserve ammo. Optional cases and puzzles can also lead to secrets, upgrades, and lore.
Enemies include the Slither, otherworldly creatures that possess and twist the dead into dangerous puppets.
Main Voice Cast Revealed
Frogwares also revealed the main voice cast behind Calvin and Faye.
Andrew Wheildon-Dennis voices Calvin Rafferty. His credits include Baldur’s Gate III, The Invincible, 007 First Light, Blue Prince, and Dragon’s Dogma III.
Gemma Elizabeth Whelan voices Faye Bennett. Whelan is known for playing Yara Greyjoy in Game of Thrones, with game credits including Elden Ring, Mass Effect: Andromeda, and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III.
Launch Set for August 18
The Sinking City 2 launches August 18, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Frogwares has positioned the sequel around scarce resources, 1920s-inspired weapons, optional investigation, and a darker take on Arkham.
