The Blood of Dawnwalker Trailer Breaks Down Story, Time, and Combat

Bandai Namco and Rebel Wolves have released a new The Blood of Dawnwalker trailer ahead of the game’s September 3 launch.

The “Everything You Need to Know” trailer covers the action RPG’s main setup, including protagonist Coen, the vampire rulers known as the Vrakhiris, the game’s time system, and its mix of blade and claw combat.

Coen Lives Between Two Forms

The Blood of Dawnwalker takes place in Vale Sangora, a dangerous dark fantasy region ruled by vampires.

Players follow Coen, who lives as a human during the day and a vampire at night. That split sits at the center of the story and affects how players approach quests, enemies, and combat.

30 Days and 30 Nights

The trailer also explains how time works in The Blood of Dawnwalker.

Coen has 30 days and 30 nights to save his family. Time does not pass just from exploring Vale Sangora, but certain quest choices and story progress will spend time segments.

That means players will need to decide which leads to chase, which tasks to delay, and which paths matter most before time runs out.

Blades, Claws, and Player Choice

Combat in The Blood of Dawnwalker can shift based on your playstyle.

The new trailer shows sharp blades, vampire claws, and different ways to handle fights across Vale Sangora. Since Coen can switch between human and vampire forms, players can expect combat to reflect his dual nature.

Launch Set for September 3

The Blood of Dawnwalker launches September 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

A new feature trailer is available now for players who want a clearer look at the story, mechanics, and choices waiting in Vale Sangora.
