NIS America has announced that Yomawari: The Long Night Collection and Yomawari: Lost in the Dark are coming to PlayStation 5 on November 5, 2026.
Both releases bring the survival horror series to PS5, with stories set on haunted streets, built around urban legends, lost memories, and spirits hiding in the dark.
The Long Night Collection
Yomawari: The Long Night Collection includes Yomawari: Night Alone and Yomawari: Midnight Shadows in one package.
Night Alone follows a young girl searching for her sister, while Midnight Shadows centers on schoolgirls Yui and Haru as they face the terrors of a rural Japanese town at night.
Items, Spirits, and Stealth
The collection focuses on exploration and survival rather than combat.
Players can search for hidden items, use them to interact with spirits, and trigger story events. Survival comes down to avoiding threats by sneaking, sprinting away, hiding in bushes, or distracting spirits with items.
Lost in the Dark
Yomawari: Lost in the Dark follows a young girl trying to break a curse by searching her haunted town for lost memories.
Ghosts roam the streets, forcing players to run, hide, use a flashlight, listen for heartbeat cues, and close their eyes to avoid the gaze of hostile spirits.
Customization Comes to Yomawari
Lost in the Dark also adds character customization to the series.
Players can change the girl’s hairstyle, hair color, clothes, and accessories while exploring its haunted town and piecing together the clues behind her curse.
