Sa[meow]rai: Silverwing Stray Announced for PC

Happinet has announced Sa[meow]rai: Silverwing Stray, a top-down pixel-art action-adventure from Gouhong Studio coming to PC via Steam in Spring 2027.

The game is part of the Happinet Indie Collection label and is available to wishlist now.

StillFlow City Has a New Vigilante

Sa[meow]rai: Silverwing Stray takes place in StillFlow City, a futuristic cyberpunk metropolis where police and corporate tensions sit near a breaking point.

Players take on the role of a cyber vigilante haunted by regret and past events. Across the story, they will deal with gangs, mega-corporations, faction conflict, and choices that can help or betray the people around them.

The booth demo will feature a “10-Minute Challenge” across two combat-only levels. All participants can receive a pocket tissue pack while supplies last.

One-Hit Combat and Time Rewinds

Combat is built around one-hit kills, high-speed movement, parries, and environmental tools.

Players can dodge gunfire and rockets, reflect attacks with proper timing, and use electronic devices or nearby objects to trap enemies. The protagonist also has a temporal reboot device, a neural chip tied to the Gyakugawa Tactical Unit that rewinds time after fatal injury.

Pixel Art and Comic Panels

Sa[meow]rai: Silverwing Stray uses top-down pixel art with a CRT-style presentation during gameplay.

Hand-drawn comic-style cutscenes bridge levels and flesh out the cyberpunk story, with branching paths and hidden plots planned throughout the game.
