KONAMI has announced Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force GX, a remake of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3 launches February 16, 2027.
The RPG card game is coming to PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch, with pre-orders available now.
Duel Academy Reopens
Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force GX lets players relive their final year at Duel Academy.
Players can pick a partner from over 100 visually upgraded characters, study Tag Dueling, and take on opponents as a two-person team.
Over 3,800 Cards
The remake includes over 3,800 cards, mixing cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime era with added fan-favorites beyond the original game.
Players can build decks, shape strategies, and take part in updated Dueling built for modern platforms.
Student Life and Online Play
Outside of card battles, players can explore Duel Academy, investigate campus activities, and play new and returning mini-games.
Online multiplayer will also support Casual Duels and Room Matches, including Tag and 1v1 Duels.
A Gallery Mode will let fans revisit story scenes from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 1 and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2.
Physical and Digital Bonuses
The Steam version includes a digital e-book.
Physical editions for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch include three Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game cards: Yubel as a Starlight Rare, Wicked Canon as an Ultra Rare, and Hope for the Future as an Ultra Rare.
Wicked Canon and Hope for the Future are making their physical debut 20 years after appearing in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime.
Pre-Order Bonuses
Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch eShop pre-orders include a Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel code in supported regions.
That code grants digital versions of Yubel, Wicked Canon, and Hope for the Future, plus a Winged Kuriboh Duel Mate.
Steam pre-orders include wallpapers and icons.
