Metroid Ravenous is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on January 28, 2027, bringing Samus Aran back for a new 2D adventure.
Both the standard edition and Special Edition will launch the same day, with pre-orders opening later today.
Eat or Be Eaten
Metroid Ravenous puts Samus in a new 2D adventure built around an “eat or be eaten” setup.
Nintendo has not shared many gameplay details yet, but the premise points to a more survival-driven take on Samus’ next mission.
Amiibo Figures Launch Alongside the Game
Nintendo also announced the Metroid Ravenous amiibo2 collection.
The lineup includes individual Samus and Chozo Statue figures, both launching alongside the game.
Special Edition Includes Steel Case
A third amiibo, Samus (Metroid Suit), will be bundled with the Metroid Ravenous Special Edition.
That version includes the game, the Samus (Metroid Suit) amiibo, and a steel game case.
Coming to Switch 2 in January
