Australia Did It: End-of-the-World Railway Defense Business launches November 10, 2026, on PC via Steam. Publisher Mystic Forge, game director Rami Ismail, and co-developers Aesthetician Labs and Dreams Uncorporated announced the date alongside a new trailer, with a free demo available now.
The tactical strategy game combines turn-based station defense, unit merging, and on-rail autobattles as you escort cargo through the dried-up Atlantic Ocean.
Defend the Station, Then Survive the Rails
After a mysterious catastrophe, the Atlantic seabed has become a monster-infested wasteland. Your job is to hire mercenaries and protect a cargo train as it travels between stations.
Before departure, you’ll position limited units and hold off enemy waves in turn-based battles. Once the train starts moving, those preparations face a different test as automatic combat unfolds along the rails.
Reaching the destination matters most. Your crew’s survival is apparently secondary.
More Than 1,500 Unit-Merging Combinations
You can merge units during play to create stronger fighters or specialized defenders. The system offers more than 1,500 combinations across over 30 unit types, encouraging experimentation with different crews.
After each successful station, Reward Cards provide perks and boosts that further shape your build.
Ismail describes the game as a blend of strategy, tower defense, merging, and explosions. Castpixel’s pixel art depicts its wasteland, enemies, and changing mercenary roster.
You can try the free Steam demo ahead of Australia Did It’s November 10 launch.
