Rise of the Oracle Adds a Japanese-Inspired Region

The new chapter begins after Damon and his companions have found a brief period of peace. An urgent request for help sends him through a mysterious door into Yomotsu-Hirasaka, a region drawing on Japanese folklore.

There, Damon encounters a demon capable of taking the forms of folklore monsters, alongside barriers associated with Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter. His task is to gather the Three Sacred Treasures: Yata no Kagami, Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi, and Yasakani no Magatama.

The chapter introduces Yugeno Mikoto, also called Mei, an apprentice exorcist who supports Damon. Her mentor, Izuna, seeks the treasures to escape Yomotsu-Hirasaka. Mei’s servant Gedomaru also appears, offering useful items in exchange for MANA.

Twin-Stick Combat Meets Exploration

The main game follows Damon, a demon aspiring to become the Great Demon King. After helping a mysterious child at an old friend’s request, he receives a curse that prevents them from separating.

You guide Damon through branching regions filled with hidden passages, weapons, and charms. New abilities let you reach previously inaccessible areas, giving you reasons to revisit earlier locations.

Combat combines twin-stick shooting with close-range attacks. Weapons differ in range, ammunition, reload time, and mobility, so your equipment choices affect how you handle enemy fire and boss patterns. Skills, rings, charms, and food buffs add more ways to build your character.

Local Co-op and Extra Challenges Included

Offline two-player co-op lets a second player control Damon’s canine companion, collect items, and assist in fights.

Players seeking tougher encounters can take on Lord Bloodedge’s Trials, which test combat and movement skills.

Damon and Baby: Rise of the Oracle arrives physically on Switch and PS5 on February 18, 2027, alongside the free story update for current digital owners.
