Ubisoft has revealed the Year 1 post-launch roadmap for the latest title in the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Throughout the year, there will be several bits of content added to the game, including free “Story Drops” — new quests that come with new abilities, allies, world activities, and more. The first of t these is called “The Works of Luis Frois” and is set to drop in early May. Also in May, parkour updates will be added, including “height-gaining back-ejects, fully re-animated height-gaining side-ejects, and a brand-new parkour move called the Vertical Ledge Jump.” Photo mode will be updated with new stickers, filters, poses, and expressions, while further quality-of-life upgrades and features like New Game+ mode and free Animus Hub content will be arriving in the coming months.
Finally, the first expansion for the game, dubbed Claws of Awaji, will arrive later this year — free to those who pre-ordered the game. This expansion will pick up after the epilogue and introduces the region of Awaji. It will feature new abilities, enemies, and a Bo staff weapon for Naoe.
