Today, they officially announced Flamecraft, a digital adaptation of the award-winning tabletop game about magical artisan dragons helping shopkeepers in a whimsical fantasy town. The game is coming to Steam, and you can wishlist it now.
In Flamecraft, you take on the role of a Flamekeeper, guiding dragons to their perfect shopfronts and helping them make magic out of the mundane. By placing dragons in shops, collecting resources, casting enchantments, and befriending Fancy Dragons, your goal is to earn the most Reputation Points and become the town’s Master of Flamecraft.
A Beloved Tabletop Hit, Now Digitally Reimagined
Originally designed by Manny Vega with art by Sandara Tang, Flamecraft has earned praise from critics and fans alike for its relaxing gameplay, stunning visuals, and clever combo-driven mechanics. The board game won the 2022 Fan Favorite Award at Origins Game Fair, and now the digital version aims to bring that same charm and depth to PC.
Monster Couch’s adaptation preserves the core mechanics of the tabletop version while bringing the world of Flamecraft to life with 3D animated dragons, interactive shops, and a new whimsical score by Paweł Górniak (Wingspan). Players can expect both single-player and multiplayer modes, with options to face off against friends or strangers, or just enjoy a chill solo run.
