Parasight—the studio behind 2022’s Blacktail—has announced its boldest project yet: Davy x Jones, a first-person action-adventure that tosses players into a nightmarish pirate underworld filled with cursed souls, mythic monsters, and dark, witty revenge.
Announced today from Kraków, Poland, Davy x Jones puts you in the boots (and detached head) of the legendary pirate Davy Jones after he’s betrayed, beheaded, and cast into The Locker—a fragmented hell of floating islands and eternal damnation.

Davy x Jones reimagines pirate lore with surreal twists and inventive mechanics. Players control Jones’s headless body in fast-paced first-person combat while Davy—his sarcastic, severed skull—rides shotgun, offering tips, jabs, and even a grappling tentacle to swing across islands.
You’ll fight through cloud-swept ruins, cursed ships, and skeletal fortresses using a mix of swordplay, gunfire, and raw underworld essence. The world is fractured into nine distinct islands, each patrolled by legendary behemoths like the Kraken, and packed with cursed loot, volatile FUSIONS, and unpredictable fiends.
