A soothing and heartfelt new game is making its debut just in time for Steam Next Fest. Undusted: Letters from the Past, developed by 5minlab Corp. and published by Toge Productions, has released a brand-new playable demo on Steam ahead of the event’s kickoff on June 9th.
This cozy cleaning simulator blends gentle interaction with emotional storytelling as you return to your childhood home following the passing of your mother. Piece by piece, players restore dusty, forgotten household items—each carrying a memory waiting to be unearthed.
Clean, Discover, Remember
At its core, Undusted is about more than tidying up. Every object you clean reveals a personal story or hidden moment from the protagonist’s past, creating an emotionally rich narrative that unfolds through silent reflection and tactile play.
The game features:
- Relaxing, ASMR-inspired cleaning mechanics
- Lo-fi visuals with a warm, inviting aesthetic
- Narrative vignettes told through objects and letters
- A nostalgic journey of grief, memory, and healing
Players can expect a calming, introspective experience perfect for fans of games like Unpacking, A Little to the Left, or Spiritfarer.
Demo Available Now
The playable demo is live now on Steam and will be featured throughout Steam Next Fest, running from June 9–16 at 10 AM PT. This is your chance to be among the first to explore the game’s beautifully melancholic atmosphere and try its interactive object restoration mechanics.
