SEGA and ATLUS have announced that Persona5: The Phantom X, the upcoming mobile and PC title set in the Persona 5 universe, will include Joker—the original game’s iconic protagonist—as a playable character right from launch. The game is set to release globally on June 26, 2025.
Alongside the reveal of Joker’s inclusion, SEGA also confirmed that a new, original event inspired by Persona 5 will be available shortly after launch. The event promises fresh content featuring other familiar faces from the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, delivering new scenes and interactions that weren’t seen in the original game.

Persona5: The Phantom X is a spin-off designed specifically for mobile and PC platforms, blending turn-based combat with the stylish flair and psychological themes fans expect from the franchise. While the game introduces a new protagonist and crew, longtime fans will be pleased to see legacy characters like Joker integrated into the story through special content and events.
