After making waves during Steam Next Fest and climbing into the top 150 on Steam’s most wishlisted games, Dungeon Stalkers is officially set to enter Early Access on August 13, 2025. Developed and published by ONEUNIVERSE, this free-to-play dungeon crawler meets survival extraction game has already built a strong community thanks to its unique blend of classic RPG exploration and high-stakes PvEvP showdowns.
Alongside the Steam Early Access launch, ONEUNIVERSE has also confirmed that a PlayStation 5 version is in early development.
What is Dungeon Stalkers?
Set in a dark fantasy world, Dungeon Stalkers puts players in the role of “Stalkers” — adventurers with unique backstories and abilities — as they descend into shifting dungeons in search of treasure, escape routes, or just survival. Every run is different, thanks to the game’s roguelike twists and its most unpredictable feature: the Witch’s Curse, a dynamic system that changes dungeon conditions every five minutes. This curse can buff your party, summon powerful foes, alter the rules of engagement, or stack debilitating effects, making no two matches the same.
At its core, Dungeon Stalkers offers both PvE and PvEvP gameplay across multiple modes. Whether you’re after a more casual dungeon crawl or ready to go toe-to-toe with enemy players while managing traps, monsters, and cursed modifiers, the game gives you the freedom to choose.
Standout Features:
- Armor Destruction System – Damage is more than just numbers: your character’s armor visually degrades over time, exposing vulnerabilities and making you a target.
- The Witch’s Curse System – A unique, time-based hazard that reshapes dungeon conditions mid-run. Every five minutes brings new buffs, monsters, or chaos.
- Solo or Co-op Options – Whether going in alone or as a team, you can match your style to the threat.
- Diverse Cast of Stalkers – Each character comes with their own story and skill set, giving players varied playstyles and lore-driven motivation.
The game’s mix of suspense, strategy, and fast-paced encounters has earned it a devoted following, with players praising its tense match structure and evolving meta across recent beta tests.
