Lululu Entertainment and co-publisher popagenda have announced that Henry Halfhead, their quirky sandbox adventure where you can become nearly any object in sight, will launch on September 16 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will be available for $12.99, with a limited-time 25% launch discount.
“We are very excited for people to play Henry Halfhead so soon. We spent four years with Henry, crafting a ton of playable objects and refining the story,” said Tim Bürge, co-founder, game designer, and artist at Lululu Entertainment. “We hope that people enjoy their time with Henry as much as we loved creating this game!”
Life Through a Hundred Lenses (and a Paper Plane)
In Henry Halfhead, players take control of Henry, an eccentric character who can transform into over 250 different objects. Whether you’re slicing toast as a knife, watering plants as a watering can, or soaring through the air as a paper plane, every object offers unique properties and abilities. Challenges can be approached in multiple ways, and exploration is rewarded with alternative solutions, funky collectible hats, and hidden story snippets.
A Wholesome, Mischief-Filled Narrative
The game’s lighthearted story is narrated with humor, reacting dynamically to the player’s actions—whether helpful or hilariously chaotic. Henry’s journey takes them through various stages of life, all while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and playful experimentation.
Co-Op Chaos
Henry Halfhead also supports local co-op, allowing two players to tackle challenges together—or double the chaos—by combining their object-transforming abilities in clever (or ridiculous) ways.
Small Studio, Big Imagination
Developed by Zürich-based Lululu Entertainment, Henry Halfhead has been in the works for four years. The studio—comprised of Tim Bürge, Leander Schneeberger, and Aaron Abt—originally developed the prototype during their game design studies, eventually securing local grants and a co-publishing partnership with popagenda to bring the game to completion.
Henry Halfhead releases September 16 on Switch, PS5, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).
