Annapurna Interactive and developer DINOGOD have announced that their upcoming mech action game Bounty Star will officially launch on October 23, 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass. A brand-new gameplay trailer debuted alongside the announcement, showcasing high-octane mech battles and the quieter moments of survival that define Clem’s journey.
A War Veteran Searching for Redemption
Players step into the role of Clem, a broken yet formidable ex-soldier living in the Red Expanse, a post-post-apocalyptic reimagining of the American Southwest. Haunted by her past but determined to find a new purpose, Clem takes up the mantle of a bounty hunter, navigating a dangerous world filled with hostile factions, unforgiving terrain, and the promise of redemption.
Mech Combat Meets Base Building
The core of Bounty Star is its blend of third-person mech combat and survival gameplay. Players can fully customize their mechs with an arsenal of weapons, including hydraulic siege arms, brutal melee loadouts, and explosive firearms. These combat systems promise fast-paced action with room for tactical approaches.
Outside of battle, players will also tend to their homestead with base-building mechanics. This includes setting up water and power infrastructure, farming and cooking food, crafting ammunition and fuel, and raising animals. The combination of mech warfare and resource management is designed to create a unique rhythm of intensity and reflection.
Release Date and Pricing
Bounty Star launches October 23, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will retail at $24.99, with a 10% discount available at launch. Players can wishlist the game now ahead of release.
