Secret Mode and Lab42 Games have announced A Storied Life: Tabitha, a wholesome puzzler about memory, legacy, and the stories we leave behind. Launching in early 2026 on PC, the game asks players to sort through the belongings of a recently deceased loved one and use those objects to reconstruct a ruined memoir.
Players will step into the shoes of someone tasked with packing up a country house room by room. Every cupboard, drawer, and rug hides items that carry a story, but only some can be saved. Limited space and weight restrictions mean you’ll have to make tough choices about which possessions to keep, sell, or discard.

Every object you decide to keep unlocks words and phrases that can be used to repair your loved one’s memoir.
