Thunderful and Wishfully Studios have confirmed that Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf will launch on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, releasing simultaneously across all platforms in early 2026. Players on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, and the original Switch will also be able to dive into Lana’s next adventure at the same time.
A New Chapter for Lana and Mui
Building on the award-winning cinematic puzzle adventure, Planet of Lana II continues the journey of Lana and her companion Mui. This time, the duo must explore the hidden depths of Novo, where an ancient mystery surfaces alongside a growing shadow. With evolved mechanics and a brand-new storyline, the sequel promises tougher challenges and heartfelt themes of friendship, courage, and destiny.
First Hands-On at Tokyo Game Show
The game’s directors, Adam Stjärnljus and Klas Martin Eriksson, alongside returning composer Takeshi Furukawa, will be at Tokyo Game Show 2025 (September 25–28). For the first time, players will be able to try Planet of Lana II themselves, exploring four new biomes and experiencing expanded gameplay features firsthand.
