Perfect for the end of summer, Persona 5: The Phantom X has rolled out its 2.1 Update, introducing a seaside-themed event, new rewards, and a powerful new Phantom Thief. The update is live now, with the first part of the event running until October 8, 2025.
“Summer! Swimsuits! Sea Time! Part One” Event
The latest event transports players to a seaside school trip, where limited-time stages, mini-games, and seasonal activities await. Rewards from this event can be exchanged for costumes, weapons, and other exclusive items.
Highlights include:
- Beach Mystery & Summer Festival – Special stages with unique battles and reward bonuses when using certain characters.
- Shooting Challenge Event – Blast pirates for event-only drops like Rare Seashells and Meta Jewels. Clearing stages also unlocks support characters.
- Summer Memories (until October 22) – Side stories with Motoha, Riko, and Lufel. Completing a friend’s story unlocks their appearance at the Fireworks Festival.
- Fireworks Festival – Collect Fireworks Shells to light up the summer sky with a variety of fireworks.
Meet 5★ Phantom Thief “Tropical Motoha”
Alongside the event, Motoha debuts in a special summer-themed form as a 5★ Bless attribute attacker.
- Unique Traits: Motoha grows stronger as she recovers HP, making her a dynamic ally for sustained battles.
- Skill 3 – Summer Hype: Deals heavy damage to all enemies and activates a unique state that powers up her abilities until the end of the next turn.
- Style: Motoha’s Tropical design brings a lively summer flair to the Phantom Thieves lineup.
Players can summon Tropical Motoha through the Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contracts banner, available during the event.
