Cladun X3 is crossing over with Touhou Project, bringing a beloved cast of shrine maidens, magicians, and more into the action RPG’s retro dungeon-crawling world. Developer NIS America announced that Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, and additional characters from Team Shanghai Alice’s universe are now available as free downloadable content on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam).
Fans can check the official website for the complete list of collab characters and a How-to Guide to access them. The crossover also introduces a brand-new playable zone, Official World: Hakurei Shrine, a lovingly crafted homage created with full permission from Team Shanghai Alice.
A Pixel-Perfect Crossover
The Touhou Project characters have been reimagined in Cladun X3’s distinct retro pixel art style, blending the aesthetic charm of both worlds. Players can now battle through dungeons alongside iconic faces from Gensokyo, adding even more flair to the game’s deeply customizable gameplay.
NIS America confirmed that more Touhou characters will join the collaboration in future updates. Players eager to dive into the chaotic dungeons of Arcanus Cella can purchase Cladun X3 now for $39.99 on all platforms.
