Idea Factory International has announced that Birushana: Winds of Fate, the fan disc follow-up to Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei, will launch physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch in 2026. The new entry features nine routes, five romantic Epilogues with returning love interests, and four Main Routes introducing new suitors.
A new Announcement Trailer showcases both the returning and all-new characters that fans will meet when the game arrives next year.
Two Eras, Two Stories of Love and Conflict
Birushana: Winds of Fate expands on the original’s historical drama and romantic storytelling:
- Epilogues – Follow Shanao’s peaceful life after the war and see how her chosen relationship develops once the fighting has ended.
- Main Routes – Return to the chaos of the Genpei War with new perspectives and new love interests, including the Sato brothers, as Shanao once again hides her true identity in a time of bloodshed.
Players will face branching choices that alter affection levels and determine which ending Shanao receives: peaceful, tragic, or passionate.
