Developer Bit Egg has announced a slight delay for its upcoming release, Lost and Found Co., pushing the game’s Steam launch back by a few weeks. Originally planned for an earlier release window, the game is now set to launch on March 6, 2026.
The team shared the update and apologized to players who have been eagerly awaiting the game, emphasizing that the decision was made to ensure a higher level of polish and overall quality at launch.
A Short Delay for Final Polish
According to the developers, Lost and Found Co. is nearly complete, but additional time is needed to fine-tune the experience. Rather than rushing the release, the team opted for a short delay to focus on final polish, bug fixing, and overall stability.
They noted that this extra development time will help deliver a smoother and more refined experience for players jumping in on day one, something they believe is worth the brief wait.
New Updates Coming Ahead of Launch
To thank fans for their continued patience, Bit Egg confirmed they’ll share new GIFs showcasing upcoming levels in the weeks leading up to launch. These previews will offer a closer look at the game’s environments and progress as development wraps up.
Lost and Found Co. is now officially scheduled to launch on Steam on March 6, 2026.
