Control Resonant Trailer Dives Deeper Into the Paranatural Sequel’s Gameplay

Remedy Entertainment took to PlayStation’s State of Play showcase this evening to give everybody a taste of Control Resonant‘s gameplay.

Throughout the video, fans can see Dylan Faden navigate a twisted version of Manhattan, New York in pursuit of a powerful Resonant. You can also see Dylan use the Aberrant — described as  “an otherworldly, shapeshifting melee weapon, that can transform into multiple forms.” These different forms will provide players with all sorts of different tools and talents to use in combat, with more being unlocked as you progress throughout the game and defeat the corrupted remnants of powerful individuals known as Resonants.

Outside of combat, Dylan will be able to use his supernatural abilities to work his way through areas that no longer obey the rules of physics, such as through topsy-turvy places known as Gravity Anomalies.
