Ubisoft has announced that Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition is available today on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Ubisoft Store and Steam. Developed by Digital Eclipse in collaboration with Ubisoft Montpellier, the commemorative release celebrates three decades of the original 1995 platforming classic.
The digital edition launches at a suggested retail price of $19.99, with a physical edition arriving in select regions this June.
Five Versions of a Platforming Classic
The 30th Anniversary Edition includes five different versions of the original Rayman, spanning PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color. Players can once again journey through iconic locations like the Dream Forest and the chaotic Band Lands, rescuing Electoons and facing off against Mr. Dark.
The collection preserves the core gameplay experience while optimizing it for modern hardware, allowing longtime fans and newcomers alike to revisit the limbless hero’s debut adventure across multiple classic formats.
New Content and a Playable Prototype
Beyond the original releases, the anniversary edition introduces brand-new content. A never-before-played SNES prototype offers a rare look at an alternate version of the game that was never released.
The package also features 120 additional levels from bonus level packs, a reimagined soundtrack by original composer Christophe Héral, and modern accessibility options including a 60-second rewind feature, infinite lives, and invincibility.
An Interactive Documentary Experience
Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition also includes an exclusive interactive documentary with more than 50 minutes of brand-new interviews from the original development team. Players can explore never-before-seen concept art, early sketches, and design documents that trace the evolution of one of Ubisoft’s most recognizable characters.
Thirty years after his debut, Rayman returns in a definitive package that blends preservation, restoration, and behind-the-scenes insight into a celebration of one of platforming’s most distinctive icons.
