The April 2026 INDIE Live Expo delivered more than 200 indie game announcements, including world premieres, new trailers, demos, and release dates. The showcase continues to grow as one of the larger global indie events, with over 100 million total views since its debut in 2020.
Organizers also confirmed the next INDIE Live Expo showcase is scheduled for Q4 2026.
Major Announcements and World Premieres
The event featured a mix of new reveals and release updates across a wide range of genres. Some of the standout announcements include:
Crymelight confirmed its November 5, 2026, release on PC, Switch 2, and PlayStation 5, while Warota: I Live Next to The Demon King’s Castle LOL debuted as a new ARPG with village-building elements targeting a 2026 PC release.
Other reveals included In Us, a four-player co-op horror game, and Feather’s Edge, a new Metroidvania funded by Outersloth.
Release Dates and New Demos
Several titles received release dates or demo announcements during the showcase. Pain Pain Go Away! launches May 20, 2026, while OCTOPinbs arrives May 12.
Demos were also a major part of the event, including:
- Well Dweller, with a new demo available now and a Q3 2026 release window
- The Second Reality Room: Unspoken Truths, which also received a demo
- Finding Polka, now playable on Steam
More Indie Projects on the Way
The showcase also highlighted upcoming titles like No Mortal Space, which is getting a demo on July 8, and .45 Parabellum Bloodhound, set for a Q3 2026 release.
Other projects like moorestech announced a closed beta, while SHIKA-Q revealed plans to appear as a side tournament game at EVO Japan 2026.
Steam Sale Live Now
Alongside the showcase, a Steam sale featuring more than 700 titles is now live and runs through May 2. The sale includes games featured during the event as well as titles from previous INDIE Live Expo showcases.
