Strange Scaffold has announced Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?!, a vehicular action game and visual novel mash-up coming to PC via Steam later this year. The new project comes from the studio behind I Am Your Beast, Clickholding, and El Paso, Elsewhere.
The game is inspired by isekai anime and manga, putting players in control of a truck that sends people into another world.
Vehicular Action Meets Isekai Satire
The story follows Carissa Ward, a corporate climber starting a new VP of marketing job in Wenvale, before she is hit by a delivery truck and wakes up in the fantasy world of Talinfold.
To get home, Carissa must open the Galactic Gate, defeat the Skeleton King, and claim his Scroll of Resurrection. Players support her by causing chaos in Wenvale, completing deliveries, dodging police, and smashing through objects to power up her journey.
Two Worlds, One Very Strange Premise
Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! takes place across Wenvale and Talinfold, blending absurd comedy with visual novel storytelling and action objectives. The game also features a ska-inspired soundtrack by David Mason, known for work on Dredge and Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3.
Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! launches on Steam later this year.
