Doot and Seaven Studio have announced that Kabuto Park will launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, the Windows Store, and Xbox Game Pass on May 28, 2026. The cozy bug-catching adventure will be priced at $5.99.
The release marks the game’s one-year anniversary and brings the short creature collector to new platforms after its original PC launch.
Catch Bugs, Battle Kids, and Build a Terrarium
Kabuto Park follows Hana, a young girl spending a month of summer vacation catching bugs. Players collect insects, level them up, build a team, and compete in the Summer Beetle Battles Championship.
The game mixes a simple capture minigame, light deckbuilding battles, equipment upgrades, and a terrarium where players can keep and pet their bugs.
Switch Version Adds Motion Controls
Nintendo Switch players will be able to use Joy-Con gyroscope controls to wave the controller like an insect net while catching bugs.
Kabuto Park will also be available in a bundle with Minami Lane, Doot’s cozy Japanese-inspired street management sim, for $8.99.
Kabuto Park launches May 28 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Windows Store, and Xbox Game Pass.
