Regalcraft Games has announced that One Fenix Down will take part in Steam Next Fest from June 15-22. The upcoming turn-based RPG’s playable demo is available now on Steam, alongside a new 2026 gameplay trailer.
The appearance marks the game’s first major event showcase after its 2024 Kickstarter campaign, which reached full funding in three days.
A Retro-Inspired Turn-Based RPG
One Fenix Down draws from 90s Japanese RPGs, blending turn-based combat, pixel and hand-drawn art, and character-driven storytelling.
The story follows a young idealist rejected by his militant family as a war dodger. After an ancient spirit grants him strange powers and delivers a message about “Fate,” he becomes caught in political tensions, buried truths, and a conspiracy that could reshape the world.
40+ Hours of Adventure
The full game is planned to include more than 40 hours of adventure, 14 playable party members, three difficulty settings, and a large cast of allies with shifting motives.
Combat will feature elemental magic, martial arts, traps, monster abilities, and character-specific Excedo Skills that activate when each character’s Excedo meter fills.
Launch Planned for September
One Fenix Down is scheduled to launch in September 2026. Players can try the demo now on Steam ahead of Steam Next Fest.
