Everflux Games has announced that Edenfall: Legacy of the First Wardens will launch for PC via Steam in Q4 2026. The release window was revealed during The MIX Summer Game Showcase 2026 alongside a new trailer showing more of the game’s shapeshifting exploration and combat.
A free demo is available now on Steam, with a recent update arriving ahead of Steam Next Fest.
Shapeshift to Restore Eden
Edenfall: Legacy of the First Wardens follows Venya, a young woman with magical powers and the ability to transform into three animal forms: wolf, raccoon, and raven.
Each form gives Venya different movement and combat options, letting players explore the world, solve traversal challenges, and fight corrupted enemies in different ways.
Combat Across Four Forms
Players can swap between human, wolf, raccoon, and raven forms while exploring and fighting. The combat system focuses on chaining attacks across forms to unlock stronger combos.
Magical crystals found throughout the world will help Venya learn new abilities, while side quests unlock additional customization options.
Healing a Corrupted World
Eden has been overrun by evil creatures, and Venya must cleanse each region to restore balance. After defeating enemies and bosses in an area, players will see corrupted land return to its natural state.
The game also ties its world-healing theme to Venya’s personal journey, with sacred meditation spots helping her find inner peace.
