Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor Announced for Kinect

Capcom announced at the Microsoft TGS Media Briefing that Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor will be released on the Kinect platform, exclusive to Xbox 360. Heavy Armor takes place during 2082 in a world without computers.

Details were sparce but Keiji Inafune revealed that the Armored Core, Demons Souls developers From Software will be developing the game and published by Capcom. The visual style takes inspiration from World War II but portrays it as an alternate future. It’ll be interesting how From Software will take the direction of the game given the absence of a controller.
