Need for Speed: The Run Announced, EA Black Box Handling

Two Need for Speed games in one year seems to be the trend that EA has latched onto as the publisher announced a new Need for Speed set for release later this year. Need for Speed: The Run, developed by EA Black Box, runs on the Frostbite engine (of Battlefield fame) and brings back the Autolog feature. NFS The Run will feature varied environments for drivers to race in, since the focus is a cross country tour to the finish line.

Need for Speed: The Run is set for release November 15 in North America, November 17 in Europe on PC, Wii, 3DS, Playstation 3, Xbox 360. EA released a cinematic teaser trailer viewed below.
