Rockstar Games announced that Max Payne 3 will launch on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in March 2012. The game follows Max, who is still haunted by his past, as he takes up a private security job in São Paulo, Brazil.
Max Payne 3 utilizes the new iteration of the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (R.A.G.E), “resulting in highly-refined gameplay with an extensive range of realistic weaponry, an intelligent cover system and sophisticated Bullet-Time mechanics.”
The also features multiplayer, a first for the May Payne series. Max Payne 3 multiplayer will offer an engrossing experience that alters maps and player progression in-game. Other features include a deep reward and level system, clan support and multiple load-out options.
