Troubled LA Noire Developer Team Bondi Shutting Down

Australian developer responsible for L.A. Noire entered administration late August in an effort to stay open however recent documents suggest that Team Bondi could not find a option and is now shutting down permanently.

The developer has filed a ‘notice of special resolution to wind up company,’ which is used to close up a business. It was reported in August that Team Bondi had sold its IP and assets to multimedia studio Kennedy Miller Mitchell.

Team Bondi, despite L.A. Noire being a commercial and critically acclaimed success, had a seemingly rough time after releasing the game last May. The developer faced internal investigation from the Game Developers Association over troubled development, citing harsh working conditions and delayed payouts, and reportedly a big divide between its publisher, Rockstar Games.

Rockstar is pushing out a PC port of L.A. Noire at its Leeds studio which is expected to release on November 8.
