MonsterVine Weekly News Round-Up for the Week of 3/8/13

It’s Friday which means its time for your daily dose of news along with two reviews for you to check out. Mr. Stamp is out of the virtual office this week so I’ve taken the news round-up duties in his absence. Now lets go on to the important stuff.

Alot of news hit this week, both good and bad. We saw the internet uproar over the always-on DRM feature included in the release of SimCity, which has caused unfavorable reviews. Also, Lara makes her comeback with the release of Crystal Dynamics’ reboot, Tomb Raider. And on the brink of Square Enix’s release, the publisher surprises all with its next title, Thief, from Eidos Montreal.

Gyuri finds out how adding a strategy element to fighting waves and waves of dudes affects the overall series formula in his review of Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires for the Playstation 3. HINT: You’re still fighting waves and waves of dudes. Also, pork buns.
