Nintendo NX Announced as the Nintendo Switch

After much anticipation, Nintendo has come forward to release the first video and details on their long-awaited newest console, the Nintendo Switch. The new console is both a home console and a portable system, as was previously speculated. Players can be engaged in a game through their T.V., and then easily pick up the Switch to immediately transfer what they’re playing so it’s available on the go.

Alongside the confirmation of a Switch version of Skyrim, Nintendo has also released an image showing an impressive number of third-party studios confirmed to be working on games that will release for the Switch, seen below.
