At the Future Games Show during Gamescom 2024, Tripwire Presents revealed a new trailer for The Stone of Madness, an upcoming tactical stealth game from The Game Kitchen. Following five prisoners escaping an asylum in 18th century Spain, it is a hand-drawn isometric game featuring two escape plans with their own stories and events, a sanity system that can lead to characters showing negative traits, and a day and night cycle that lets you prepare you plan and then act.
The Game Kitchen previously made The Last Door and the Blasphemous games. The Stone of Madness is set to be released for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in early 2025.
