Monster Hunter Wilds x Street Fighter 6 Collab Brings Akuma and More to the Forbidden Lands

The Forbidden Lands just got fiercer. Capcom has officially launched its Street Fighter 6 collaboration event in Monster Hunter Wilds, uniting two of its most iconic franchises in one brutal crossover. Starting today, hunters can take on special Arena Quests to unlock exclusive Street Fighter-themed gear, including a full Akuma armor set and layered armor usable across all 14 weapon types.

Available to players at Hunter Rank 21 or higher, the event begins with a new Side Mission from Quinn at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp. Completing the limited-time Arena Quests “Demonic Strength” and “True Strength” will net you the materials needed to craft Akuma’s unmistakable look, complete with red gi, fiery aura, and signature fighting moves.

Akuma Joins the Hunt

Akuma isn’t just for show. Players can equip his full armor set and layered gear while retaining the full flexibility of Monster Hunter Wilds’ weapon system. Whether you wield Great Swords or Insect Glaives, you can bring the Raging Demon’s energy to every battle.

In addition to the free, earnable content, premium DLC cosmetic items based on Street Fighter 6 are also available for purchase. These include gestures inspired by classic Akuma techniques and more visual flourishes that let hunters channel the fighting game legend in style.

How to Start the Collaboration Event:

  • Reach Hunter Rank 21 or higher
  • Talk to Quinn at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp
  • Take on Arena Quests “Demonic Strength” and “True Strength”
  • Craft Akuma-themed gear and layered armor
  • Check the store for optional paid DLC items

More on the Horizon

Capcom teases that this crossover is just the beginning of what’s coming to Monster Hunter Wilds this summer. With the Forbidden Lands constantly shifting and new threats emerging, fans can expect even more surprises, content drops, and collaborations in the months ahead.
