Nacon and Rogue Factor are bringing Hell is Us to San Diego Comic-Con in full force this weekend, offering fans hands-on gameplay and a deeper look into the game’s universe. The upcoming third-person action adventure will be playable at the Restart Gaming Lounge powered by AMD, and attendees can be among the first to dive into Remi’s war-torn world ahead of the game’s September 4 launch.
Even better? A 16-page digital comic prequel will expand the backstory of Remi, the game’s mysterious protagonist, when it drops for free on August 6 at nacongaming.com.
Try Hell is Us at SDCC 2025
Running July 24–27 at the Restart Gaming Lounge inside the Marriott Marquis Marina Hotel, the Comic-Con demo showcases Hell is Us in its most optimized form. Thanks to AMD tech, the game runs with full support for FSR 4 and delivers high-performance visuals powered by AMD GPUs and CPUs. Players can experience fast-paced melee combat and explore the haunting, war-torn world of Hadea firsthand.
Comic Book Prequel Coming August 6
Titled simply Hell is Us, the free digital comic book serves as a narrative lead-in to the game, shedding light on the pivotal events that caused Remi to abandon his duties as a peacekeeper and infiltrate Hadea.
Crafted in collaboration with Dead Good Comics, the book features art by Andrea Scalmazzi (Dune: House Corrino) and Antonio Antro (Lego Batman Magazine), with a story penned by Stu Taylor (Crusader Kings III: Many Roads to Power). Hell is Us Creative and Art Director Jonathan Jacques-Belletête supervised the project to ensure lore consistency.
The comic’s striking cover comes from Yanick Paquette (Harley Quinn, Justice League Unlimited) and Marcelo Maiolo (Amazing Spider-Man, Wolverine).
Hell is Us launches September 4, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
