Nacon has announced that Edge of Memories launches on November 5, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Nacon revealed the release date during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 showcase. Pre-orders are now open on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the Deluxe Edition granting access beginning November 3.
Deluxe Edition Includes 48-Hour Early Access
Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition can begin playing Edge of Memories two days before the general release.
The package includes the base game alongside:
- Nekaroo Costume Pack
- French History Costume Pack
- Digital artbook
- Original soundtrack
Physical pre-orders also include a metallic SteelBook case in addition to the listed bonuses.
A French Take on the JRPG
Edge of Memories is a third-person action RPG set across the continent of Avaris.
The project combines JRPG influences with a French animation-inspired art direction, with character design contributions from Raita Kazama, known for Xenoblade Chronicles X, and writing from Sawako Natori, whose credits include NieR.
NieR and Chrono Trigger Talent Contribute
Cédric Menendez composed the main soundtrack, with vocal performances from Emi Evans and Marion Schneider.
Additional music contributions come from Mariam Abounnasr and Yasunori Mitsuda, whose credits include Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Chrono Trigger, and Xenogears.
